Day 19, September 7, 2018 West side Glacier National Park

Traveled today - again on Route 89. Still cannot believe that they tear up the entire road and rebuild it all at once , traveling public be damned! Weird. Traveled around the southern end of Glacier National Park. We found ourselves very close to the Apgar Visitor Center - western entrance to Glacier, so decided to go.
Much more smoky on this side. Nanette complained that her throat felt like she was coming down with a cold. I breathe mostly through my nose, and it did feel a bit irritated.
The mountains on this side remind me more of the Colorado Rockies - lot's of pine trees. East side was much more sparse and rocky.
Arrived at Jim and Mary's RV Park in Missoula, MT. Very nice place. Well kept with lot's of well kept flowers and spacious sites. Plus their Huckleberry/Cheesecake Popcorn was fantastic.

you stopped posting, where did you go on way home? I hear rumors you have to book RV reservations a year in advance and cannot just pickup and go with a 40 rv on a whim, is that true? you mentioned facebook but could only find Nan's FB not yours, didn't see any trip pictures but I'll recheck. Any lessons learned, wish did xyz, wish skipped abc, needed x days more here or there? What would you do differently? Would you consider longer than 19 days and add Yellowstone and such?
